Event Photography – Fantastic Night at Evoke
One of Lensmen’s latest event photography shoots was at Evoke.ie first fashion and beauty event in The Shelbourne Hotel last month.
Evoke.ie is Ireland’s “premier website for Irish females with the latest news, showbiz, fashion, beauty, entertainment, and celebrity gossip.” This sold-out event of theirs was a new and exciting showcase of all the must-haves in fashion and beauty.
Evoke. ie editor Sybil Mulcahy said when opening the show, “We were hoping to have a good turnout, but to have a sell-out was a great result.”
Brow experts from Benefit were at the ready. Nail technicians were at every table. And with that, the fun began.
Renowned MUA Ken Boylan took the stage and held a mini makeup masterclass. Evoke’s beauty guru, Laura Bermingham, showed us her favourite skincare products. Representatives of The Shelbourne’s Spa gave a rundown of their services. Laura Stinton from Bellamiante Tan’s taught the crowd how to avoid messy self-tan disasters. Benefit’s National Brow Artist, Katie Tieran, demonstrated how to get the best brows. The day’s last show was a demonstration of how to get heatless waves from Ger McLoughlin of Preen Hair and Beauty.
And, of course, all of this is shown between the stunning runway shows of the latest fashions. Throughout the day, prizes were awarded for many things, some valuing as much as €500! But in fact, no guest went home empty-handed; everyone received a gift bag filled with goodies from the event’s sponsors.
