Process for Syndication to the Media

For providing photographs to the media, our process is as follows:

Generally, syndication to the media occurs after the photographer has returned to the office and the images have been processed, captioned, and an approved press release has been attached. Ideas will reach all national and online media news desks by the evening news deadlines.

• Any requested Photoshop alterations are carried out.
• We add captions to each photo: names, titles, dates, locations, and occasions.
• The images are saved as high res JPEGs of 300dpi, of suitable quality for printing. They can also be sent as low-resolution images, particularly for online outlets.
• The images are either distributed directly to the editors of the national and regional papers, or a blind carbon copy email release can spread them.
• We include 3 separate captioned images in each syndication of the papers.
• We are also happy to syndicate images to any supplied contacts list.
