This building is one of the most significant landmarks along Dublin’s quays. The historic building played a major part in Irish and Dublin history, including being burnt down during the Civil War. When rebuilt, the facade was recreated, allowing the beautiful design of the original structure to be preserved.

Nowadays, Dublin’s LUAS light rail system Red Line passes the rear of the site en route to the City Centre and outer suburbs.
