Customs House Dublin Ireland
This building is one of the most significant landmarks along Dublin’s quays. The historic building played a major part in Irish and Dublin history, including being burnt down during the Civil War. When rebuilt, the facade was recreated, allowing the beautiful design of the original structure to be preserved.
Lensmen’s panoramic time-lapse videos of the Customs House capture the beauty of the building at various times of the day throughout the year. Occupying up one whole block along the Customs House quays, the serenity of the building seems even more pronounced during dusk and twilight. Nowadays, Dublin’s LUAS light rail system Red Line passes the rear of the site en route to the City Centre and outer suburbs.
