Christ Church Drone Video
Tourists from all over the world come to Dublin to admire its beautiful
As one of the most tourist friendly cities in Europe, Dublin welcomes millions of visitors every year: according to Fàilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority, the five-year period 2009-2014 has seen an increase in the number of tourist, from about 7 million people to almost 9 million.
This has brought a great deal of business to the country, with an estimated revenue going up to over 6.5 billion euros in 2014 from 5.3 billions in 2009.
The reasons for this success are many, but above all is the fantastic variety that Ireland can offer in terms of attractions and heritage sites. With hundreds of different locations available throughout the country, there’s enough to satisfy all tastes!
This is why here at Lensmen we decided to begin a fantastic journey filming Ireland’s most famous tourist attractions. Last week we launched the first ever made drone video of one of Dublin’s most famous landmarks: Christ Church Cathedral.
Thanks to the epic footage we captured from both outside and inside the cathedral, we could create a video showing Christ Church from such a magical, unseen perspective.
Ever wondered what Dublin looks like from up there? Look at the beautiful bell tower, and enjoy the view from one of the city’s highest points. Fly with us along the buttresses and discover all the details you were never able to see from the ground.
Drone videos of tourist attractions and heritage sites are a fantastic opportunities to show Ireland’s most iconic locations! It’s a great way to discover Ireland for those who have not yet been here, as well as remembering the country’s beauty to the people who have.
It is also a unique opportunity for Ireland to expand a thriving sector even more, as well as a new tool that can be successfully implemented in marketing and social media strategies.
Access any location from the sky and add a unique perspective to your images and videos.
