Drone Video | Lidl RDC Newbridge, County Kildare, Ireland

In November 2019, Lidl opened its new €100m distribution centre in Newbridge, Co Kildare, with over 2,000 construction jobs created from this project; this was Lidl’s biggest investment in Ireland since 2000. Lidl’s new distribution centre’s increased capacity means it can store 49 million products due to the streamlining of operations; amazingly, over 60% of these products will come from its network of Irish suppliers. This eco-friendly, state-of-the-art facility can serve Lidl’s network of 90 stores in the Leinster area.

Lensmen were delighted to capture aerial drone footage showing the progress of Lidl Ireland‘s new Regional Distribution Centre in Newbridge Co Kildare. Lensmen’s drone pilot visited the site every month to film the development of this new energy-efficient, state-of-the-art facility. It was a great pleasure for the Lensmen team to work with Lidl Ireland and their respective consultants as they created this new facility.
