For around €30 million, County Kerry will greatly improve the County’s Central Regional Water Scheme. This will ensure more quality drinking water supply for 62,000 residents of the county.

Glan Agua LTD has been contracted to complete this upgrade. The project involves the development of a new water treatment plant, located at the reservoir of Lough Guitane outside Killarney. The project began in the autumn of 2016 and is estimated to take up to two years to complete.
