Susan Kennedy’s Interview With Dublin South Fm
Lensmen’s managing director Susan Kennedy was very pleased to be asked to talk about her career on Dublin South FM. Ian Epstein presents The Sunshine Factory every Wednesday at 1 pm, speaking to people from different backgrounds and professions weekly. Susan talked about her career as a photographer and ever-changing creative business.
Susan Kennedy began her career as a PR and fashion photographer during the 80s in Dublin. After several years of shooting political events, including portraits of the then Taoiseach Charlie Haughey, she was approached by the founders of Lensmen in 1995 about buying Lensmen.
Lensmen is one of Ireland’s leading and oldest media companies, covering over 65 years of major political and social events. Originally a Photography company under the skilled management of Susan Kennedy, Lensmen has grown and expanded with the times. Four years ago, Lensmen expanded their services to include Video Production, Time-Lapse and Drones. Lensmen have developed from a photography company into a creative agency. Susan’s personally picked crew includes skilled photographers, videographers, graphic designers, animators, drone pilots, marketers and social media experts.
Susan is a pleasure to work with and ensures all her staff feel confident and at home in their workplace. She provides a can-do, professional, creative atmosphere in the workplace or when the Lensmen team is working on a job.
