Lensmen Photographic Team
Our team comprises three full-time photographers and several carefully selected freelance associates providing national coverage. We are based in Dublin city centre and can attend any location within a mile’s radius of the office at a half-hour’s notice. We aim to provide photography services to Dublin suburbs within three hours, whereas we would request 24-hour notice for events further afield. We can add photographers to a job at short notice if necessary.

Lensmen Drone Photography and Video Team
Our team comprises of one full-time drone pilot Sean Walsh. We are fully qualified for UAV operations with the IAA Irish Aviation Authority and & Fully Insured Professional UAV Services to carry out aerial filming in Ireland.
We specialise in Aerial Inspections and Aerial Surveys shooting aerial drone photography and videography. We record all our video footage in 4k Ultra HD and images are all taken in a RAW format, shooting in RAW files and 4k Ultra HD gives you more freedom to adjust and edit images/footage

We also have support staff, including a full-time office manager, archivist, marketing/graphic designer, and accounts manager.

History of Lensmen
Lensmen was founded in 1952 by Andrew Farren and Padraig MacBrian in Dublin. It is currently owned by Susan Kennedy, who took over in 1995. Lensmen is the leading and oldest photography-video production agency in Ireland, covering 72 years of major political and social events.
We recently expanded our services to include time-lapse photography and have found these latest offerings to be in constant demand since their introduction.
Lensmen have an extensive team, including photographers, videographers, editors, a complete Video production unit, and administrative support staff.
This team brings a combined experience of the press, PR, corporate, and industrial photography, corporate and artistic videography, and graphic design to every job undertaken by Lensmen.
We are affiliated to the organizations The NUJ (the National Union of Journalists), IPPA – Irish Professional Photographers Association, and PPAI – Press Photographers Association of Ireland.
