History of Lensmen

Lensmen is one of Ireland’s leading photographic agencies. Founded in 1952, we have covered all the major political and social events of the past 63 years. Susan Kennedy, who took over the agency in 1995, currently heads Lensmen. We have recently expanded our services to encompass videography and time-lapse as well, and have found these latest offerings to be in constant demand since their introduction.

Lensmen have an extensive team, including photographers, videographers and administrative support staff. This team brings a combined experience of press, PR, corporate, and industrial photography, corporate and artistic videography, and graphic design to every job undertaken by Lensmen. Affiliated to the organisations, the NUJ (National Union of Journalists), IPPA (Irish Professional Photographers Association) and PPAI (Press Photographers Association of Ireland), Lensmen has access to a vast network of professionally certified photographers nationwide.
