Famous irish poet, short story writer, novelist and playwright Brendan Behan took a walk with a donkey in Connemara on 10th June 1959. Behan was best known for his play in irish language “An Giall” which he adapted also in English as “The Hostage” and his autobiographical novel “Borstal Boy”.
